Juan Chao is an interesting photographer with a minimal lens. His photos are pretty barren, nothing much is going on in them but they still capture a simplistic beauty. I of course always love pictures of hands. I've been trying to move away from them this year, hands and mirrors, but I can't help but be attracted to this shot. It's plain but there's a sense of mystery in the fog. There's nothing in the hand but you wonder why and how it's shrouded in a mist.
